AHF Launches “Out of the Closet” Thrift Store

In Los Angeles, AHF opens its first Out of the Closet thrift store — the organization’s initial venture into “social enterprise,” in which AHF creates businesses that generate revenue for the organization’s life-saving services and advocacy. The thrift store will turn into a nationwide chain, with locations in such cities as Seattle, Dallas, and Ohio. Social enterprise will be a cutting-edge business model for AHF, generating hundreds of millions of dollars that will fund crucial programs around the globe.
