AHF Fights Corporate Greed Over 340B Legislation
In the U.S., AHF defends the successful 340B Drug Discount Program, which pharmaceutical companies want to kill due to corporate greed. It allows a non-profit like AHF to buy life-saving medications at a discount from pharmaceutical companies and helps to generate revenue for an organization’s important work. The federal program was created, in 1992, under President George H.W. Bush during the height of the AIDS crisis.
