Month-Long “Testing Millions” Campaign Shatters Myths

AHF holds a month-long “Testing Millions” campaign leading up to World AIDS Day, holding free HIV testing events around the globe. The initiative shatters the myth that people are unwilling to be tested in public – in four weeks, AHF screens 4 million in 23 countries. Just as importantly, the 172,000 people who were found positive are immediately linked to lifesaving HIV treatment.
