AHF South Africa Celebrates 20 Years!

What began as 100-person pilot program in Durban in 2002, AHF’s first HIV/AIDS clinic (Thembalabantu) outside the U.S., has blossomed over the last two decades to become the country with the largest client base of any AHF program. While there were obstacles along the way, the program is still thriving and providing livesaving HIV/AIDS care and treatment to nearly 183,000 registered clients, as of March 2023.
