AHF Celebrates 20 Years of PEPFAR!

In 2003, President George W. Bush announced the establishment of the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) – the most successful program ever created to address a single disease. AHF celebrated PEPFAR in Feb. 2023 as it commemorated its 20th anniversary and honored the 25 million lives it has saved while acknowledging much work remains in the global fight against HIV/AIDS.
